5th Grade: Musical Instruments
The 5th grade students learned and reviewed the following color schemes: primary, secondary, warm, cool, complimentary and analogous. Each student had to choose a musical instrument and draw it at least five times and overlap them in at least two different places. They also had to create at least 3 different sizes of their instrument. Then the students had to use a different color scheme in each of their five instruments. Students were able to use watercolor pencils and watercolor paint. Finally we discussed what a collage is and the students were able to rip and tear musical note sheets to fill in their background.
