Check out what the students in Mrs. VandenBush's classroom are doing in art! Some of th lesson ideas I come up with, but many of these ideas come from other wonderful art teachers!
I really like your projects. Can you give a brief description of the process? It's always helpful to have an idea of the materials you used and some sequencing tips. Thanks! :)
The students drew half a skull and cut. We discuss various lines, shapes and they created one side of the design and outlined with sharpie. They they used overhead projectors and the windows in my room to trace their design on the other side to create symmetry. They used markers to color in and outine. Glued onto color of their choice and had to choose one line to repeat in their backgound. Stressed putting the lines close together to get a better effect!
I love the variety of lines and patterns.
