Check out what the students in Mrs. VandenBush's classroom are doing in art! Some of th lesson ideas I come up with, but many of these ideas come from other wonderful art teachers!
First they painted with water color and used saran wrap for texture (that paper was later cut into the landscape). They They created the planets on white paper and pastel chalk (learned about how to blend and which colors are best to blend together). I took their picture looking up while they were working. Then They had a template to trace for the helmet. Hope this helps!
What a cool idea! Could you tell me how you used the saran wrap? Also, echoing the above comment- which size face photo did you use when printing it out?
This is a fantastic idea that I'm going to use with group I am taking for Art. I like that there are several different steps to produce the final artwork.
Wonderful, cute idea! I think i will use it with my two at home. Makes me wish I was still teaching elementary.

ReplyDeleteThank you!
If you lay saran wrap on wet watercolor and let sit overnight on paint it creates a wrinkle effect. Photo size was 8 1/2 by 11 computer paper.
