Check out what the students in Mrs. VandenBush's classroom are doing in art! Some of th lesson ideas I come up with, but many of these ideas come from other wonderful art teachers!
I love Pinterest! My #1 lesson planning website....usually I get more ideas there than Artsonia! I love the way your students outlined the buildings with marker. It really makes them look crisp and clean, while the water looks a little ripply like it should :). Did you paint one side, and then folded your paper in half? Or did you use bleeding tissue paper? I'm curious how all the colors stayed wet at the same time :). Thanks for sharing your great ideas!
This is awesome!!! I need to find this on pinterest! I just use another cityscape idea I found on pinterest for my lesson with 2nd grade right now. I think I'll try this one next year! Looks awesome!
The designed their cities and had to over lap some of their buildings. Outlined with sharpie and colored in with markers. Then I had a spray bottle with water that i sprayed and we folded in half to print the reflection. Fially they took water color to paint yellow in the sky and blue in any white areas left in the water. They all turned out beautiful!
You inspired my most recent blogpost!!
